TV Finance

Was thinking today with the rush to buy presents of how many people are using finance to purchase a LCD or Plasma TV this time of year! The most obvious form of TV finance will be letting the electronics retailer sort the finance out but this can sometimes be a double edged sword as although easy many retailers take commission on the TV finance the arrange for you thus making it maybe a slightly more expensive way of financing your TV compared to the other alternatives.

Best selling TVs in Canada

Like I have done with the UK and America I thought I would compile details of the best selling LCD and Plasma TV's in Canada. Unfortunately this wasn't as straight forward as the other too as it appears Amazon (who I normally compile those statistics from) don't sell LCD and plasma televisions in Canada! As always I remain undeterred and found a Canadian TV and electronics shop called Tigerdirect who seem to be one of the biggest sellers of LCD, plasma, HDTV, DLP TVs and flat panel televisions in Canada so used there current top selling TVs list.

Cheap tvs November increases

Again November saw an increase on visitors from the previous month here on cheap tvs up around 4,000 visitors on Octobers figures. Kind of good news on the whole although it wasn't as high as we were hoping for cheap television, got some real hard work to do this month. Anyway to the point (haven't done this for a while now) here are the top 250 searches for the cheap tvs site.

Shrooms Movie Review.

I love going to the cinema, I don't know why but I just enjoy it. Anyway I have unfortunately not been for a long time so was pretty pleased to venture off to my local cinema on Saturday for the first time in about a year! Yes a whole year! So after a long time I obviously wanted to see something good and for some obscure reason we decided to watch Shrooms instead of American Gangster, yes looking back now it was a bloody stupid decision. So anyway onto Shrooms itself, don't take the following as a proper review of Shrooms cause its not, more just me blabbering on in a random way more than anything warning you of how bad this film is. Also the paragraph below may contain some spoilers although after reading this hopefully you wont go and watch Shrooms and wont care that I've spoiled it for you.

Best selling televisions 02/12/2007

Haven't taken a look at the best selling televisions on amazon.co.uk for a while now so thought that with the run up to Christmas now would be the perfect time! The LCD verses Plasma war is (from these results at least) is being well and truly won by LCD televisions. God knows why, but the public to tend to be swayed enormously by marketing especially from the likes of Sony with there Sony Bravia range of LCD televisions.

Visits from Canada.

Whilst at lunch (honestly) today I was looking for some cheap flights and holidays to the second largest country on the planet Canada. Personally I would love to drive from one side of the vast nation to the other in a camper van, but unfortunately with work I can't exactly run off on my Canadian adventure just yet. Boooo rubbish lol. Anyway it got me thinking what city's most of cheap televisions visitors from Canada come from.

Sorry its all gone slow.

Yeah yeah yeah I know cheap televisions rate of new news has slowed down again, but its been unavoidable really with being a busy boy at work etc. Also I lost a little faith the other day after cheap televisions visitors dropped from around 1,500 a day to about! Really rather demoralising so god knows what googles doing at apart from upsetting me for no reason I can think of! Anyway I'll get back into updating the TV news, television blog and so on this week I promise.

Lunch, Televisions, Update.

Stupid title I know, but I'm at lunch, the blog post involves televisions and it is a kind of update on the status of cheap televisions (although I'll do a bigger and better one soon with the cheap TV stats as normal). Without going into too much detail we've had more visitors than before in October, mainly down to people trying to find out if African Stig on Top Gear was Lewis Hamilton, well without putting my genius cap on I can tell you that it wasn't. I thought I might as well get this out of the way as in the run up to Christmas many people will be looking for the best deals on lcd and plasma televisions, well just cheap deals in general. Whats on TV in Canada.

I thought I'd have a look at what people are watching in Canada so decided to have a look at Canadian TV listings on CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) for prime time this Friday. Obviously they have other TV channels in Canada but it was the easy choice and I didn't see the point on looking at all of them in one hit. Now as being someone from the UK I was pleasantly surprised to see a couple of British TV shows on being shown on prime time television in Canada. It's just a shame one of them is the totally abysmal Coronation Street!

As part of making this blog a bit more international in scope I thought it would be a good idea to have a look at the top 10 movies in other countries starting with Malaysia. The reason I've picked Malaysia is because I spent over two weeks in and around Kuala Lumpur during September this year. I loved it in Malaysia and I would also like to say don't believe the crap you read on lots of politically motivated blogs on the internet, Malaysia / Kuala Lumpur is a great place to go on holiday, very cosmopolitan and hassle free.
