Best selling TVs in Canada

Like I have done with the UK and America I thought I would compile details of the best selling LCD and Plasma TV's in Canada. Unfortunately this wasn't as straight forward as the other too as it appears Amazon (who I normally compile those statistics from) don't sell LCD and plasma televisions in Canada! As always I remain undeterred and found a Canadian TV and electronics shop called Tigerdirect who seem to be one of the biggest sellers of LCD, plasma, HDTV, DLP TVs and flat panel televisions in Canada so used there current top selling TVs list.

The only problem with using the statistics from this Canadian TV retailer is that some random things are in there like flat panel TV wall mounts etc, but there's nothing I can do about that to be honest. So here top ten selling TVs (HD, DLP, LCD and plasma) in Canada according to sales figures from Tigerdirect:

From the figures its obvious that LCD TVs are in favour for Canadian consumers (or it could possibly just Tiger direct). HDTV's seem to also be popular in Canada too! The one thing that really strikes me though is the manufacturers as I'm only aware of one which (have a guess) is Toshiba. I have no idea if Olevia, Viewsonic and Westinghouse are just rebranded names for the TV market in Canada although I will certainly be looking into this in the coming days (knowledge is power and all that).
