Sony Bravia LCD Televisions By admin Published: September 25, 2006
Sony's Bravia range of LCD televisions use Sony's so called Bravia engine which stands for "Best Resolution Audio Visual Integrated Architecture" to put this in to more plain terms this is a snippet from Sony's site on what the Bravia engine means: "BRAVIA ENGINE is the high picture performance engine used in the latest Sony LCD televisions. An original picture tuning and noise reduction process was developed by Sony to guarantee vivid and high contrast images. The complex noise reduction process enhances low contrast images until they are crisp and realistic, and processes blues, greens and whites within each frame to generate the richness and colour accuracy.". I have personally taken a look at Sony's Bravia LCD televisions for myself and although not as cheap as other manufacturers, they are pretty impressive pieces of kit and do look very nice. One thing to remember when looking at Sony Bravia LCD televisions is to remember you are paying a premium for the name and could get a similarly specked a quality product for slightly cheaper. One thing these televisions offer over competitors is in the style department where they are a winner in almost all of the Sony Bravia range, you can get similarly aesthetic LCD televisions, but they will normally be in and around the same price as Sony Bravia. The Sony Bravia range are available in X series, V series, S series and U series. No I haven't worked out why Sony Bravia give there televisions all these silly names as they say all of them are high quality LCD televisions and HD ready, but thats marketing for you. Now we will have a look at the Sony Bravia range and give you a rough guide to the prices of all the televisions in the range so you can find the cheapest Sony Bravia television.
