Sam Rockwell banned from sex research.
Sam Rockwell wasn't allowed to fully research for his new role as his girlfriend doesn't like it, well then again his new role playing a sex mad conman! The film is based on a Chuck Palahniuk novel (he wrote Fight Club for the uninitiated) in which a sex-addicted con-man pays for his mother's hospital bills by playing on the sympathies of those who rescue him from choking to death. 
Sam Rockwell said "I play a sex addict - it's pretty interesting,” says Rockwell. I'm not quite a Method actor. I do a little research, but there's research and there's research, you know? I'm dating someone, so I can't go off and have tons of sex with anonymous people.”
