BBC pay £3,000 a week for Eamonn Holmes flights
Well my friends and casual internet passers by it seems we have found another reason why we shouldn't give the thieving and illegal (from a competition law point of view obviously) BBC our television license fees.
It has today been revealed that the BBC pay for Eamonn Holmes flights to and from Scotland so he can host (rather badly I might add) the National Lottery Jet Set. These flights cost us the television license fee paying public £3,000 a week, thats £156,000.00 a year to needlessly fly someone because they have to be in London for other television work on commercial channels. Its a disgrace really.
The BBC tried explaining this by saying "Eamonn is paid a fee for appearing on the show and that takes into account any transport costs he may incur." ermmmm yeah that really makes up for it! God knows what other imaginative and unnecessary ways they throw our money away!
