James Nesbitt Doctor Who rumor denied

Steven Moffat the writer of Doctor Who has emphatically denied that the rumors about James Nesbitt becoming the next actor to play Doctor Who.

I didn't start the rumor before anyone says it was my fault lol, I just reported what was being said about the next Doctor Who, I also hope that James Nesbitt won't be joining the cast as I still think John Simm would be the perfect replacement for David Tennant as the lead charachter (like I said before I know he's been The Master, but maybe that could be part of the twist). Anyway less speculation one thinks.

Steven Moffat told The Mirror "The James Nesbitt story is a total fabrication. A fantasy. Just a guy sitting at a desk and inventing stuff,I wasn't going to say anything but I'm getting embarrassed for the wonderful Jimmy Nesbitt. So tell everyone please, it's getting very silly."
