Designer Sky HD boxes

Bored of your boring grey/white Sky HD box sitting in your living room? Well you might interested in one of these Designer Sky HD boxes to add a bit (well maybe too much in some cases) of colour. The Sky HD box designs come from Gareth Pugh, Jonathan Saunders, Giles Deacon, Preene and Basso & Brooke who all normally work in the fashion industry. All the designer Sky HD boxes are apparently also made in limited editions to give them a bit of exclusivity.

The one problem I have with these designer Sky HD boxes is that ok they look cool in the picture, but in practise would look out of place in and modern or contemporary designed living room. I have the same feeling about custom games consoles too. The other issue with the designer Sky HD boxes is that I like to hide all my bits and bobs like DVD player, surround sound system from view so my entertainment system doesn't look cluttered. This is just a personal view and I have no doubt that some clever design minded person out there could really make these look good.

If you want one of these designer Sky HD boxes be prepared to pay between £199 to £299 for the privilege.
