Johnny Briggs caught using prostitute in Thailand.
The actor Johnny Briggs who played Mike Baldwin in ITV1's Coronation Street has admitted using a £15 prostitute for sex while on Holiday in Thailand. Johnny Briggs was discovered using the Thai prostitute by The People newspaper while on his first holiday as a single man since his divorce from his wife Christine in 2006 after the couple were married for almost 30 years. 
Johnny Briggs told The People "There's no fool like an old fool. I'm 72 and found all the attention very flattering. To be honest, I think I was too p***ed to do anything. This was my first proper holiday as a single man and I got carried away with all the girls throwing themselves at me. It's all very embarrassing. I'm sorry if I've caused any hurt to my family. I've only got myself to blame. I'm doing panto this year - this is going to look very bad."
