24 Season 7 preview.

Season 7 of the popular US TV show 24 is set to begin on January 13 2008 on Fox so we thought it would be a good idea to do a small preview. The seventh season of 24 is set seven months after season 6, from what we can ascertain at the moment Jack Bauer will face a trial for his previous actions, but thankfully this is just a back story and as usual the world will be in jeopardy again.

The treat to the world or America in season 7 of 24 will involve the computer system being hacked into causing a major security breach for the American government. We have no details of what else happens but the storyline does sound very similar to that of the recent Die Hard 4 movie that was released this year (out on DVD now for those who still haven't watched it).

24 will have its first female president in season 7 played by Cherry Jones. Her characters name will be Allison Taylor, or President Taylor to Jack Bauer. For those of you who don't know Cherry Jones she born 21/11/1956 and has previously been in the likes of The West Wing and movies such as Erin Brockovich and Ocean's Twelve. Very high caliber of previous shows/movies so we can hope for a great performance from 24 season 7's new president.

Season 7 or 24 will also have the return of Tony Almeida who was previously in 24 Season 5. Again not confirmed but more than likely is that Tony Almeida played by Carlos Bernard will be the main bad guy in 24 Season 7 and behind the breaching of the US governments computer infrastructures firewall. He was thought to be dead in his last appearance in the hit TV show, so no doubt there will be another back story explaining how he survived.

Lastly of the information we have managed to gather 24 season 7 will be the first in which Jack Bauer wont be working for the fictional CTU. I think we can safely assume that Jack Bauer will have contact with the agency in some shape. Obviously filming will revolve around Kiefer Sutherland's prison term (or is that the other way around lol). Also we haven't been able to find anymore news on the 24 film that rumors have been continually circulating around the internet about.
