Jamie Oliver Upset.
TV chef Jamie Oliver has been left upset after no supermarkets turned up for a debate about battery farming of chickens and eggs. For his television documentary Jamie's Fowl Dinners he asked all the major supermarkets including Sainsbury's who he has a lucrative advertising deal with to appear. The lack of a representative from Sainsbury's apparently upset Jamie Oliver the most.
The TV chef said "It is shocking that the people I work for didn't turn up on the day. I don't know why. The fact that your PR department hasn't even got the confidence to turn up and talk about what you do for the millions of people who come through your doors each week. Of course the supermarkets should have turned up. How dare they not? I was really upset."
Jamie's Fowl Dinners will be shown on Channel 4 television on Friday at 9pm.
