Skins to drop entire cast!
Probably the best thing on television at the moment is Channel 4's teen drama Skins which is now in its second series. Its not often you'll hear me saying something is great on TV although I do know some people who don't like Skins claiming its either weird, full of posh people (I do live in Essex sorry lol) or some other stupid reason not to like it before they go and turn Hollyoaks or Eastenders on their LCD TV. Bonkers I know!! But even more bonkers is that the executive producer of Skins has confirmed that they are to drop the entire cast of the current series of Skins for Skins series 3! 
Bryan Elsley who is the executive producer of Skins explained "There are risks associated with dumping a cast, but we just did it. There was some disquiet at the channel, but then they told us just to go with it. It's exciting - we never stand still and we can tell our stories in a new way. The first year is about getting to know the kids, and the second gives us the advantage of being able to explore their psyches a little more".
Thank god all the writers will stay but I'm still undecided as to if its a good move or not as they could explore the characters in Skins much more than they already have especially with whats been happening in the current series of Skins on Channel 4.
