Season 7 of the popular US TV show 24 is set to begin on January 13 2008 on Fox so we thought it would be a good idea to do a small preview. The seventh season of 24 is set seven months after season 6, from what we can ascertain at the moment Jack Bauer will face a trial for his previous actions, but thankfully this is just a back story and as usual the world will be in jeopardy again.

Australian news presenter found dead in Sydney.
Australia's Network Ten's primetime evening news co-anchor Charmaine Dragun has been found dead in a well known Sydney suicide spot. The Australian news presenter was only 29, her body was found by Sydney police near Sydney's sea cliffs. The police aren't treating Charmaine Dragun's death as suspicious so we can only assume that she took her own life.

Sharon Osbourne's 15 year old X Factor contestant Emily Nakanda has decided to leave ITV's prime time television show. It appears the decision follows reports of Emily Nakanda being seen attacking another girl in a mobile phone video. In the video it is reported that Emily Nakanda grabs the other girl known as Anna in a headlock then grabs her hair, sings her around, hits her then Emily Nakanda pushes the girl to the ground. Seems Emily Nakanda has provided the most excitement to this years rather mundane X Factor in all the wrong ways.

No unfortunately this isn't a joke! From what we understand the Heroes spin off show Heroes: Origins looks likely to be the first casualty in the strike by the writers Guild of America and could potentially leave Heroes: Origins permanently canceled! It hasn't been completely confirmed as of yet but according to reports reaching us NBC Universal entertainment have already decided to drop the 6 episodes of Heroes: Origins from the production schedule!

Konami delay MGS4 LaunchOh no I hear you scream, but unfortunately its true, Japanese gaming giant Konami has changed the scheduled UK release date for MGS4 from March 30 to sometime between April and June 2008. Obviously many gamers will be disappointed that MGS4 has been pushed back as Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of Patriots is one of the most hotly anticipated games for Sony's Playstation 3. No doubt Sony will also be slightly disheartened as such a high profile game could turn the tide for the PS3 against the family friendly fast selling Nintendo Wii and Microsoft's Xbox 360 with its great selection of A* games.

Jamie Bamber who plays Lee Adama in the Sci Fi show is delighted at the prospect of a Battlestar Galactica prequel movie entitled Razor which is set to be released in November before the final season of the television show airs next year. We don't have any plot details about Battlestar Galactica Razor apart from the obviousness that its a prequel and we don't know if it will be a proper movie as in being shown at the cinema or straight to television.

Its a bit strange Michael Jackson agreeing to appear on the X Factor to mentor the remaining acts when it was ITV 1 who showed the Martin Bashir interview that so badly damaged Wacko Jacko's image.in both the UK and America. Check this out its a music Walkman from Sony although this new one is a bit special as it also plays video too! The music and video Walkman from Sony is a bit of a tease for us here in the UK as although only costing £200 it is very doubtful that Sony will release it outside of Japan. What we do know about the Sony video Walkman is that it has 16GN of memory, 2.4 inch screen, will be called the A910 and can record television programs.

Top selling music albums on Amazon. Ok not television related I know, but still within the entertainment industry we decide to look at the best selling music album on Amazon. Now as well as being a fan of television and movies I love my music and just by looking at this list of the best selling music albums can tell a lot of them are garbage. None the less we will proceed as everyone has different taste in music as well as films and television.
