Yes Barbara Windsor who plays Peggy Mitchell in one of the longest and most rubbish TV shows ever Eastenders (yes we here at Cheap Television hate Eastenders) is set to leave the Square next year. Personally we’re waiting for the news that the TV show has died, we’d even be happy to bring the axe down on it ourselves.

After the news that Barbara Windsor is leaving Eastenders was announced she apparently said ” I’ll be so sad to leave Peggy behind. EastEnders has been wonderful to me and it’s no secret that it changed my life all of those years ago” and “I’m looking forward to the future and I suppose when all’s said and done, I should spend a bit more time with my old man, as he’s not getting any younger.”
