Any thoughts are welcome. Not only did our content take a much unneeded hit, but so did the amount of people visiting cheap television. The numbers practically got slashed in half over the course of the month! The blog team are working hard to rectify this and get cheap televisions back to over a thousand visitors a day.

We’re still not sure why we get so many hits from people searching for Lindsay lohan naked! Ok most of us wouldn’t say know but this is a family friendly TV blog and website full of clean fun.

Cheap TV Voucher Codes

In the past after digging through most of the rubbish on these voucher and discount code site we would be able to find at least one of two cheap TV deals to tell you about. Recently however it seems all of the codes that would give you 2%, 5% or even a rather nice 10% off or a £100 or £200 discount have vanished from existence. Rather than helping anyone get a television for less these discount and voucher code sites now seem to be adorned with nothing but links to the main online shop websites that unhelpfully sticks a cookie in your browser.

This little cookie isn’t something edible but essentially means that if you purchase something from the online shop they link you to, they receive a slice of commission. That would normally be fine, but as we’ve already mentioned literally none of them currently have (and haven’t had for a while) discount codes for cheap televisions! It’s like a wasteland for discounts visual electronic consumers at the moment.

We will keep searching this void like space for voucher codes and discount code to use to help you buy a cheap TV and we will only bring you those that actually work. We meticulously test any we find, wouldn’t it be good if the government and financial institutions were more like the cheap television blogging team, before spending our time publishing them.

So here is a call to the marketing departments of the worlds online television retailers. If you have voucher or discount codes that you would like to offer to hard working consumers to help them get a cheaper new television then get in contact. We will happily publish them on cheap televisions providing they are decent deals and no third party is taking a commission from them. Same goes for Sky TV and Virgin Media!

Cello Cheap 3D Televisions

For September we hope to continue growing cheap televisions in the same vain and would be particularly interested in hearing from people that have TV related voucher codes. Voucher codes for TV deals at the likes of Currys, Comet, Tesco, Argos, John Lewis etc have been very thin on the ground recently. Maybe something to do with the never ending financial crisis especially in retail? We would have thought that the television retailers would be trying to encourage us consumers to buy with more voucher codes and special bargain offer than ever before but for some reason it’s not happening.

According to our analytics information cheap televisions had 4,177 unique visitors and 7,629 pageviews! That’s up from 3,449 and 5,105 in July so the team must be doing something right with the TV blog . Again most of the cheap televisions traffic came from search engines 79% with the rest being a mixture of site referrals and direct web traffic. We will be trying our best to get the cheap televisions site to hit 5,000+ visitors for September even though it will be a very tough task (although not impossible, at its height cheap televisions would get over 1,000 hits a day!).

Sky Sports Football Fixtures On TV

I know existing Sky TV customers will be saying that’s not fair to themselves but it’s not my fault. For those that want to take Sky up on their half price subscription for 12 months the SkyTV1 discount code I used has expired. However cheap televisions has had a tip off that the discount code SkyA is valid until 8th September 2011 and SkyTV3 may also still be valid. It would be much better if Sky would stop charging people to view the channels in HD though, £10 a month, £120 a year is expensive in this economic climate and isn’t helping forward the world of HD television viewing for the masses.

So as I now have the luxury of being able to watch the nations favourite spot on my 50 inch plasma television (I can’t wait), I’ve been hunting through the TV listings for what football games are being televised this coming week on Sky Sports.

What TV

The team are trying to create more of a community feel to cheap televisions so need to know what the community wants. We’ve been reviewing what cheap TV posts are the most popular and trying to base more of our blog posts around them, but some input from you the reader would be much appreciated.

We’ve also been spending much more time updating our television related content to keep everything fresh and up to date. Blogging takes time but we think we’ve now managed to find a way to keep you up to date with all the latest TV news and to stop the site getting stale like it has in the past.

Half Price Sky TV Deal

The reasons at the time was I just wasn’t watching that much of the Sky broadcasts on my television to justify the cost of the Sky subscription. A hundred billion channels but I was still mostly watching the BBC and Channel 4! Since then Sky have introduced Sky Arts and Sky Atlantic which seem to have programming that better suits my viewing taste. So I have to say the 12 months half price Sky subscription offer is pretty tempting.

You do however have to feel sorry for the loyal Sky customers that wouldn’t be able to take advantage of this Sky deal! It’s a bit crazy that those (like myself) who happily chop and change their television services to get the best price get all the best offers to return to Sky. Yet those that stay loyal and have had ongoing Sky subscriptions for years have to pay the full price.

Secondly, after the move, we will be revamping the look of the site as it has got a bit boring over the years. The layout isn’t as good as it could be either and with all the new types of TV technology flooding the market the plasma and LCD TV sections that the site is based on really need to be expanded. So the idea is cheap televisions will be able to expand with the increasing technologies like 3d TV and LED televisions.

Finally we may open cheap televisions to guest TV bloggers to help keep the site fresh with the latest TV deals and entertainment news. This has been out undoing in the past not being able to keep the content fresh and interesting so if you would like to help out with the then drop the cheap television team an email.

Everything should be changed for the better and hopefully running smoothly by September.
