The Samsung UE32D5000 (or to give it its full name the UE32D5000PWXXU) is currently the best selling full 1080p HD television being sold on Play.com. It’s a 32 inch LED backlight LCD screen so is super thin.

Check out this stunning looking new LED TV from Philips. Its called the 40PFL9704 and it has to be one of the best looking new televisions on the market today. Philips are calling this LCD TV with LED backlighting “LED Pro”. I guess this is one way for them to help market this very stylish television at £1,800 (no cheap television deals on this one). The picture above is of the 40 inch LED TV model with a bigger 46 inch brother 46PFL9704 (£2,500) due in shops sometime in December.
Cheap televisions has noticed an awful lot of TV reviews around the interwebbyland at the moment for which we are glad. The latest is this 52 inch LED LCD TV Sharp Aquos, model number LC52LE700E reviewed by one of the best blogs for TV news techradar. Its Sharps first affordable and cheap foray into the world of selling LED backlight TVs. So what was the deal with the Sharp LC52LE700E LED TV when they recently reviewed it?
LG has unveiled this amazing looking LED backlight HDTV SL9000 LCD TV. it looks incredible because it has almost no frame at all and is a super slim 3cm! The television will be sold in two sizes in the UK the cheapest model being the 42 inch 42SL9000 costing around £1,100 and the 47 inch 47SL9000 coming in somewhere near £1,500. Saves you money too as LED technology uses much less energy making those electricity bills cheaper (still more power usage than old style CRT televisions).
Ok this really isn’t a cheap television at all, the Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 10 is a super slim LED backlight 40 inch LCD TV for those who have the finance to have superb looks as well as good picture quality. The Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 10 has some really cool little tricks up its sleeve too like a swinging wall bracket and a magnetic front panel to change the colour of the television.
It wasn’t that long ago that all the major television manufacturers were trying to out do each other by making the biggest television screens possible (cheap television does condone this kind of behaviour lol). Now thanks to LED backlight TV technology it seems a second front has opened in the war with manufacturers seeing who can making the thinnest television possible. At the moment it seems Samsung are taking the lead with this amazingly thin 40 inch LED TV coming in at just 3.9mm thick (or is that 3.9 mm thin?).
What the best way to get a cheap television? Well getting some cash back on your purchase is one method and that is just what Samsung are currently offering (a deal similar to Sony’s but you get to keep your old tele) by offering cash back on their range of LED televisions (LCD TVs). The most you can get off is on the Series 8000 TVs making them £200 cheaper. The range included in the deal are 40 inch to 46 inch screens and lasts up until the 31st of January 2010.
LG are currently ranting about a competition to win one of their new super slim LED backlight televisions and as this equals super cheap (if you win) we thought we’d shout about it a little bit too. The television in the competition is a 42 inch LG 42SL9000 LED TV which is as you have come to expect a full HD tele.
