The cheap televisions TV blog has been lacking in the pictures & images section recently so here are some pictures from one of our favourite television shows from the US. Fringe is broadcast on the Fox television channel in America and Sky 1 in the UK and Ireland. Season 4 of Fringe will be coming to our television screens soon so to get us in the mood here is a list of the TV characters and actors from the popular television show.

Fringe TV Shows characters:

Anna Torv as Olivia Dunham (season 1–present), a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent tasked with investigating a spate of unexplainable events. Anna Torv also plays Olivia Dunham in the parallel universe, named by the characters from the main universe as “Fauxlivia”.

Joshua Jackson as Peter Bishop (season 1–present), a jack-of-all-trades with a less than clean background brought into the Fringe team by Olivia to help work with his estranged father, Walter Bishop. Peter is really the son of “Walternate” from the parallel universe in the TV show, Peter was taken by Walter shortly after the death of his own Peter at a young age.

John Noble as Doctor Walter Bishop (season 1–present), a former government researcher working in the world of fringe science who was seen as a mad scientist and institutionalised after a accident in his which resulted in his assistant being killed. John Noble also plays as the parallel universe’s Walter character, named “Walternate” by the characters in the main fringe universe. Walternate managed to become very powerful as the U.S. Secretary of Defense and started the war against the main universe after the his son Peter was abducted.

Lance Reddick as Phillip Broyles (season 1–present), a Homeland Security agent and Senior-Agent-In-Charge (SAIC) who ultimately runs the Fringe Division. Reddick also plays the role of the parallel universe Broyles (no odd name here), who finds sympathy for Olivia and manages gets himself killed during season 3 whilst helping her to escape back to the main Fringe universe.

Jasika Nicole as Astrid Farnsworth (season 1–present), a Junior FBI Agent and assistant to Olivia and Walter. Nicole also plays the parallel universe Astrid character, who appears to have symptoms similar to Asperger syndrome as tribute to Nicole’s sister who has the disorder.

Blair Brown as Nina Sharp (season 1–present), the Chief Operating Officer of Massive Dynamic, a leading firm in science and technology research and longtime friend of Walter and William.

Kirk Acevedo as Charlie Francis (season 1–season 2, episodes 1–4, 11; recurring afterward), FBI Senior Agent, Olivia’s colleague and close friend, and the second-in-command of the Fringe Division before his demise. Though Charlie was killed early in the second season, Acevedo reprises the parallel universe version of Charlie.

Mark Valley as John Scott (season 1, episodes 1–13), Olivia’s former FBI partner and secret lover, and whose death in “Pilot” leads Olivia to join the Fringe division.

Seth Gabel as Lincoln Lee (recurring season 2–3; starring season 4), an agent of the parallel universe Fringe Division. The prime universe version of Lincoln, also played by Gabel, appeared in the episode “Stowaway” as a special agent stationed at the FBI building in Hartford, Connecticut.

Suits TV Show Pictures

Suits is a legal drama with a dash of humour set in New York and is currently one of the cheap television gangs favourite TV shows from the good ol USA. Admittedly Suits can be very predictable (they always win in the end) and some things are repetitive (Harvey says to Mike you don’t want this job, Mike says he does), but overall Suits is very good TV viewing. The pictures below are screenshots of the main characters from Suits, the actors really are what makes this TV show good, whoever done the casting for Suits deserves a promotion.

So far there have been 8 episodes of Suits broadcast in the USA. We would like to say that it’ll be shown in the UK soon but as of yet no UK TV channels seem to have picked up on it. They should employ cheap televisions to help decide what rights to what American TV shows should be purchased and sent over here to the UK.

The pictures above are of the main cast in Suits, there are other recurring characters including Sarah Rafferty as Donna: Harvey’s secretary, Tom Lipinski as Trevor: Mike’s drug-dealing best friend and Vanessa Ray as Jenny Griffith: Trevor’s ex-girlfriend and Mike’s confidant.

From the Wiki of all Wiki’s: Suits, formerly known as A Legal Mind, is a USA Network television comedy-drama series starring Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams. It debuted on June 23, 2011, with a 90-minute premier episode. It was renewed for a second season of 16 episodes on August 11, 2011.

The Cheap Televisions blogging team are big fans of console gaming especially in full HD. So as you can imagine we are extremely excited about Assassin’s Creed: Revelations which is due to be released later this year on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Just look at the amazing high definition visuals from the game on the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations screenshots below! We can’t wait until this is released and see it in it’s full glory on out HD TVs.

The new cheap televisions design has also been implemented which makes it much better for images of computer games and other media like videos as we can now use a much bigger size. More, much more, coming soon.

Ok this TV blog post is totally unrelated to finding cheap LCD TV deals or the best bargain plasma televisions or even the latest entertainment news. Its purely me being nostalgic about getting away from London and Southend, Essex on my trip to Salzburg in Austria back in March this year with the picture I took on my dirt cheap GE digital camera (point and shoot type with photoshop post production). The pictures in the post below are only a small number of the total I took. I did also learn to say television in German while there “Fernsehen” and my favourite TV Remote “Fernbedienung”.
