Well the usual renewal notice for my long running TV blog has come up and has been renewed, however it struck me just how stale the website has become. Once we had over 3,000 hits a day, now we are down to something like 30. To be honest the last bouts of blog updates were really done to try and stop this decay, but it didn’t seem to make any difference. Obviously from a blog owner perspective this is slightly depressing and cheap television has gone neglected for the past year or so.
At the high point I wanted to start doing television reviews, unfortunately the manufacturers and distributers didn’t want to play ball so now that would be even more unlikely. Now I am just thinking aloud for ideas for the future of the blog. So I would like your ideas of how to get this sinking ship afloat and sailing once more! I’ll take all ideas on board even if it is from potential buyers wanting to buy the cheap television blog (lthough selling this would be a rather sad day for me after all the work that has gone into it)! More entertainment related news? Or more focussed towards the tech aspect of it all.
Hopefully this isn’t the last blog post from me and in a way it’s got me wanting to get back to working away at it again. No promises though, I’ve done that before and it’s gone back to obscurity! Lastly I apologise for my nonsensical ramblings…
I am sorry about how things are going for this blog lately. But if you want things to start picking up again, I suggest you keep it up-to-date. 1-2 posts a week should suffice if you want to focus on the technological side. If you want to focus on entertainment news, it will have to be more often than that. You can also do a little bit of both. Furthermore, a revamp in design is called for here.
