Jack Davenport doesn’t want a real Flashforward.

British actor Jack Davenport who plays Lloyd Simcoe in one of cheap televisions favourite TV shows Flashforward has said he wouldn’t like to see into the future. He is also apparently please that the USA show has been picked up by terrestrial television channel Five in the UK.

About seeing into the future Jack Davenport apparently said “Absolutely not – I’m scared enough of the future as it is, ignorance is bliss.”. I’m not sure if I would like to see into the future, if its like Flashforward then it seems there is nothing we cold do to change the events that are going to happen anyway.

Jack Davenport then went on to say “A lot of the time when you do stuff over here either it takes a hell of a lot of time to get back home, or doesn’t, and there’s a certain element of, ‘What have we been up to for the last however long? So I’m really pleased that it’s being shown on terrestrial television and it’s available for everyone to watch.”

ABC has given Flashforward the go ahead and ordered the full season of the hit TV show and it is shown on Five in the UK on Monday nights.
