Whathifi have just reviewed the new KDL-40Z5500 LCD television from Sony, its another full HD effort as you would imagine (don’t see many non full HD Sony televisions any more) costing around £1,300. It seems they were very impressed with this LCD TV giving it 4 out of 5 stars but were disappointed with the back lighting of the television which stopped them giving the KDL-40Z5500 LCD TV a 5 out of 5 review.

Read the full review on the whathifi website but in their summary of the Sony KDL-40Z5500 LCD TV they say “We’re really fed-up with saying this, but here’s yet another Sony with a superb performance that’s ruined by uneven backlighting”. Not a really cheap television by the way, my LG Plasma television is bigger, cheaper and in my opinion better looking lol.
