Kim Jong-il Bans World Cup 2010 TV Coverage In North Korea.

Time for some slightly weird televisions news on cheap TVs today as according to a couple of random newspaper reports the North Korean dictator Kim Jong-il is to ban the 2010 World Cup coverage on TV. Well they will apparently only be showing TV highlights of the football feast but only if they are victories for the North Korean football team in the World Cup and even then will be heavily edited.

I wouldn’t normally put one of Marks and Spencer annoying TV commercials on cheap televisions, but this advert has caused a little bit of controversy (which is good). Check out this stunning looking new LED TV from Philips. Its called the 40PFL9704 and it has to be one of the best looking new televisions on the market today. Philips are calling this LCD TV with LED backlighting “LED Pro”. I guess this is one way for them to help market this very stylish television at £1,800 (no cheap television deals on this one). Sexy X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has landed herself a one off prime-time television show on ITV. The show to be called Cheryl Cole’s Night In will be shown on TV on Saturday the 19th of December (wow think I might cancel my trip to Manchester for this). In the run up to Christmas wouldn’t an extra 5% discount off your Blu-ray DVD player, LED backlight TV, LCD TV or plasma TV on the Currys website be a good deal? Cheap Televisions In Salzsburg, Austria.

Ok this TV blog post is totally unrelated to finding cheap LCD TV deals or the best bargain plasma televisions or even the latest entertainment news. Its purely me being nostalgic about getting away from London and Southend, Essex on my trip to Salzburg in Austria back in March this year with the picture I took on my dirt cheap GE digital camera (point and shoot type with photoshop post production).
