Here’s a few pictures of LGs flagship 60 inch 3D plasma TV the 60PX990 which at around £2,000 which cheap, but you do get an awful lot of television for your money. Cheap televisions has always been a big fan of big LG plasma TVs because of their very good performance at a reasonable price point.

This TV commercial for the Audi RS6 must be one of the best car television adverts in recent history without really advertising the car it’s selling. The cowboy taming the raging bull in itself is nothing special but what the lighting, the music, the camera angles make even now make me go wow. Personally I don’t even really know why Audi spend so much money making new television commercials as this would still work perfectly for the Aud R8 for example.

Tesco currently have a deal on the Samsung 3D LE40C750R2 40 TV advertised on their website when you buy the Samsung television you get a Samsung 3D BluRay player and a Samsung 3D Kit thrown in for free. Saving £329.94 does sound like a good cheap TV deal from Tesco but like we always say here on cheap televisions shop around and haggle, you may be able to get an even better bargain on all this kit if you hunt the web and make some phone calls.

I saw an interesting article this week which said the internet had now overtaken the television as the main way we entertain ourselves in our spare time. This has been on the cards for a long time now so comes as no big surprise that the majority of us are looking at computer screens rather than TV screens.

I have officially banned myself from watching television on weekday evenings so I can devote some much needed time to the cheap televisions website and also to my photography. It’s been a bit too easy for me to sit down on the sofa with the best intentions of writing articles and television blog posts only to mindlessly watch rubbish I don’t even like on the plasma TV.

I obviously like television hence having cheap television blog dedicated to it but my other passion is taking pictures hence also running a photography blog. Last night I got a combination of both of my favourite things on the iPlayer (as I missed it first time around) with the TV programme called “Shooting the Hollywood Stars”. It followed the famous photographer Rankin around as he tried to create some of the iconic photographs from Hollywood and although it wasn’t the best programme / documentary ever it was good to see photography getting a prime time slot on BB2 on a Saturday evening.

The guys over at What HiFi provide us with excellent reviews on televisions and home entertainment equipment and now they have announced their 2010 TV awards with the Sony KDL-40EX503 40 inch LCD TV winning the television of the year 2010. They gave the Sony KDL-40EX503 television 5 out of 5 stars in their review and describe it as “Sensational value for money; class-leading picture quality across the board; Freeview HD tuner; sounds impressively detailed”.

Thought we would take a look at what the 5 cheapest LCD televisions that are available from supermarket giant Tesco this Christmas. Although none of these Tesco bargain televisions would serve the average person as a main TV screen for everyday viewing, movie watching and game playing they are perfect for a child’s bedroom or to put in the kitchen. Stating the obvious these Technika branded televisions aren’t exactly feature rich and the picture quality won’t be up there with the Sony Bravia and Panasonic LCD TVs currently on the market but they are cheap as chips and some even come with built in DVD players.
