Pioneer seem to be very happy bunnies with their range of home entertainment products, not being content making some of the best televisions on the home TV market they have also been getting rave reviews about their range of Blu-ray DVD players from EISA. Before I go on these Blu-ray DVD players like Pioneers televisions are not cheap! EISA is short for European Imaging and Sound Association and they have given the Pioneer BDP-LX91 Blu-ray DVD player the “European Blu-ray Player 2009-2010″ award.

Pioneer BDP-LX91 Bluray dvd player
Pioneer must be over the moon with this Blu-ray player with EISA saying “Naturally, the BDP-LX91 also offers HDMI 1.3a connectivity and the full flexibility of Profile 2 BD Live functionality with its 4GB of internal memory. Powerful DSP is included, offering audio bass management and Pioneer’s own ‘adaptive bit expansion’ which interpolates BD’s native 8-bit per channel to 16-bit colour. Picture and sound quality are spectacular, being both vibrant and hugely detailed. The very brightest whites look pure, free of spurious colour and any suggestion of dynamic crushing, while the multichannel sound is amazing, the most dense acoustic imaginings depicted in seemingly intricate detail.”

Pioneer BDP-LX91 Bluray dvd player back
All very impressive although one thing cheap televisions would like to know is what television or televisions the Pioneer BDP-LX91 Blu-ray player was testing with. If you’re looking at buying a Blu-ray DVD player don’t forget both need to be of good quality, a good Blu-ray player won’t make an average television good and a good television won’t make and average DVD or Blu-ray player good. Just something to consider if you’re looking to purchase either at the shops before the Christmas rush this year.
