Cheap Televisions will be down Southend seafront tomorrow taking some pictures of the 2010 Southend Shakedown. I know it’s not a television related topic but the yearly motorbike ride from London’s Ace Cafe is now a pretty big event and all in aid of charity. Here’s hoping the weather holds out and that the roadworks combined with the British Superbikes don’t play havoc with this years Southend Shakedown. Anyway check back here on cheap televisions tomorrow for pictures from the 2010 event (in the evening obviously).

Ok was a fun filled day, the weather was rather rubbish to start but did get nice in the afternoon with plenty of sun to be had. This years Southend Shakedown didn’t seem as busy as previous years to me but was still a very good turn and plenty of characters around. Didn’t get as many good pictures of the Southend Shakedown as I was hoping but here are the pictures I do have, I will keep updating this cheap televisions blog post over the week as TV and a nice cold beer are in order

Biker At Southend Shakedown
All kinds of motorbikes were at the event however there wasn’t enough mods (actual mods all dressed up etc) to give it that retro vibe from the past. So well done the Rockers, Mods try harder at the 2011 Southend Shakedown please. Would have been cool if they had a band playing too but you can’t have everything I guess.
