Now LCD televisions have been totally outnumbering those visiting cheap televisions for plasma TVs. Seems the push from the likes of Sony has been worth it, then again they’re still losing money. The biggest increase in visitors has come from people looking for information on Tesco Televisions. With their range of budget brands they are likely to be having a bumper sale of small TVs this Christmas. I still wished Tesco would off a longer “free” warranty with the tellys they sell. In theory they could actually take the fight to Currys, Dixons and Comet (and Best Buy) for mainstream home entertainment equipment if they tried a bit harder. Normally I do the total top 200 words and phrases on cheap television but I thought this time I would just do the top 50 as its already turning in to a long TV blog post lol. These tend to jump around a lot but it’s plain to see in the run up to Christmas and the 2010 January sales that people are looking for deals on LCD TVs and plasma TVs. A bit odd that cheap television is in 7th on the list as I would have thought that would have been one of the 3 most popular. The best phrase is cheap televisions and we’re not even at the top of the search engines for it (not yet anyway).

The cheap televisions country list hasn’t changed too much, Europe still dominates although North America has the two biggest demographics after the UK. I personally think there should be more cheap television visitors from the southern hemisphere as Autralia only ranks 9th and New Zealand doesn’t rank at all in the top 20! LG 50PS7000 Best Cheap Television Of The Year

The LG 50PS7000 plasma television can be brought for around £880 and I know its HD ready brothers like the 50PQ6000 are much cheaper but this is about value. The LG 50PS7000 has many options and calibration controls to play around with. Full HD playback for Sky HD and Blu-ray DVD movies. And well its just gorgeous to look at.

Performance wise you can get better but like most things in life you have to pay to get it. For example the Pioneer PDPLX5090 which are considered one of the best 50 inch plasma televisions money can buy will easily set you back around £2,000. That’s more than double the price and the picture on the LG 50PS7000 isn’t exactly twice as bad as the Pioneers. It would be nice if the LG black levels were closer to the Pioneer but this is a cheap television and can easily be forgiven for its one flaw.

The sound quality of the LG 50PS7000 plasma television is also right up there. I love the invisible speakers that all the LG plasma models have and the performance is top notch. Yes a home cinema surround sound system always sounds better for movies but not all of us can have our televisions at those kind of levels.

I personally thought LG would at least sell one 32 inch plasma television in the UK but I am mistaken. Still sure they do make one or used to. The most popular size plasma screens they make are 50 with 6 models. Probably also worth noting they dont make any full HD 42 inch plasma TVs and no HD Ready 60 inch monsters. The plasma televisions made by LG are:

Top Gear Ferrari California

The first episode we will see Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May take an Aston DBS Volante, a Ferrari California and a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder to Romania to find what has been described as the greatest road in the world. James May testing the BMW 760i and Mercades S63 AMG (should be an interesting review with captain slow behind the wheel of two powerful cars). And the star in a reasonably priced car is Eric Bana (star of Star Trek, Troy and The Hulk. I’m all excited as you maybe able to tell, but please forgive me as this is by far cheap televisions favourite television show.

LG 50PS3000 Is It The Best Cheap 50 Inch Plasma Television

The LG 50PS3000 is only £694.12 @ Dixons at the moment and for a good 50 inch plasma television is a bit of a bargain. You could probably find it even cheaper at some of the smaller or online only retailers. A quick mention about Samsung, I just found out they were apparently told by advertising standards not to market their LCD televisions as LED TVs and if they want to shout about LED’s they must describe the televisions as LED Backlight.

One thing to keep in mind is that there maybe some bargains coming in the January sales but please remember that VAT goes back up to 17.5% in January.

Panasonic Television Free TV Stand Deal

The Panasonic plasma televisions you can choose from are the TX-P42G10B, TX-P46G10B, TX-P50G10B, TX-P50s10B and the TX-P42S10B. There are two Panasonic LCD televisions in the offer both of which are 37 inch LCD televisions and the models are TX-L37G10B and TX-L37G15B.

Good news for all UK Xbox 360 owners (including cheap televisions) the deal to bring the Sky Player to the Microsoft Xbox 360 games console on the 27h of October! Apparently it will only be in standard definition (why all these HD Ready and Full HD televisions when there’s no free HD content, not the best marketing!) to start off with, and may include Premier League Football and boring boring Cricket.

I’m going to try and find out more information about the Sky Player on the Xbox 360 tomorrow. But for any cheap television readers in the USA I also read this on one of the Xbox 360 forums “For any US users that are annoyed, this is pretty much exactly like Netflix, apart from we need an additional monthly subscription and a whole load less content. But yes, we do get live streaming TV too, apparently. I wouldn’t be surprised if thats a ‘Coming soon’ feature”.

To be fair if you already have a TV and Sky and an Xbox I don;t really see the point.
