Cheap Tesco Technika 40-270 40 Inch LCD Television

Obviously price wise the Technika 40-270 40″ LCD TV is a real bargain deal, but we worry that it is possibly too cheap! We would love to get out hands on one from Tesco to test it and do a review to see if a cheap price means low picture, sound and build quality.

If you are planning on buying a Technika 40-270 40″ LCD television from Tesco we would recommend putting it next to a similar sized TV made by a more mainstream LCD manufacturer like LG, Samsung, Sony or Panasonic. Using the same input material (Freeview or DVD) and see what the actual difference in picture quality is. We’re not sure if Tesco would do this in their stores but if someone from Tesco wants to get in touch with Cheap Televisions to let us know it’s be most helpful.

Even though the Technika LCD 40-270 40″ HD television is cheap it still does come with the usual 1 year manufacturer’s warranty and Tesco do offer an extended 3 year warranty at an extra cost.

On Reevoo the reviews of the Technika 40-270 television has a perfect 10 out of 10 score. We would really take this with a pinch of salt as many of the reviews have no text and those that do just state the Technika 40-270 LCD TV is great value for money (which is obvious anyway). LG 50PS7000 Best Cheap Television Of The Year

The LG 50PS7000 plasma television can be brought for around £880 and I know its HD ready brothers like the 50PQ6000 are much cheaper but this is about value. The LG 50PS7000 has many options and calibration controls to play around with. Full HD playback for Sky HD and Blu-ray DVD movies. And well its just gorgeous to look at.

LG 50PS7000 50 Inch Plasma TV Side

Performance wise you can get better but like most things in life you have to pay to get it. For example the Pioneer PDPLX5090 which are considered one of the best 50 inch plasma televisions money can buy will easily set you back around £2,000. That’s more than double the price and the picture on the LG 50PS7000 isn’t exactly twice as bad as the Pioneers. It would be nice if the LG black levels were closer to the Pioneer but this is a cheap television and can easily be forgiven for its one flaw.

The sound quality of the LG 50PS7000 plasma television is also right up there. I love the invisible speakers that all the LG plasma models have and the performance is top notch. Yes a home cinema surround sound system always sounds better for movies but not all of us can have our televisions at those kind of levels.

I personally thought LG would at least sell one 32 inch plasma television in the UK but I am mistaken. Still sure they do make one or used to. The most popular size plasma screens they make are 50 with 6 models. Probably also worth noting they dont make any full HD 42 inch plasma TVs and no HD Ready 60 inch monsters. 19 Inch LCD Tesco Television

Ok its not full of features but its a small television and isn’t supposed to come with a little band of Gremlins doing a big song and dance about contrast ratios etc. It’s just a cheap 19 in television from Tesco. Below is the apparent features of this little LCD TV comes with but for this television Tesco really shouldn’t have bothered, anyone buying this television would hardly be getting it for their living room or HD content. Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 10 LCD TV

I personally just love the way the Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 10 TV looks. Although its well out of my cheap televisions budget by miles we can all have little dreams can’t we? Being Bang & Olufsen the sound quality of the BeoVision 10 LED backlight LCD TV is probably excellent too (but don’t be dragged into the marketing too much as you can normal find a similar set up at a much lower price but without the Bang & Olufsen name). So how much does this stunning looking television cost? Well we think it’ll be retailing for around £6,000 which make far from being a cheap television. So why is it on our website? Well its aspirational and it looks gorgeous which is enough for us.

I personally like the sound of this part from the Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 10 website “the frame takes up a minimum part of the total TV surface and by selecting a high-gloss aluminium polishing the frame almost disappears. Jack Davenport Flashforward TV Show

About seeing into the future Jack Davenport apparently said “Absolutely not – I’m scared enough of the future as it is, ignorance is bliss.”. I’m not sure if I would like to see into the future, if its like Flashforward then it seems there is nothing we cold do to change the events that are going to happen anyway.

Jack Davenport then went on to say “A lot of the time when you do stuff over here either it takes a hell of a lot of time to get back home, or doesn’t, and there’s a certain element of, ‘What have we been up to for the last however long? So I’m really pleased that it’s being shown on terrestrial television and it’s available for everyone to watch.”

ABC has given Flashforward the go ahead and ordered the full season of the hit TV show and it is shown on Five in the UK on Monday nights.
