Any thoughts are welcome. We have been running cheap televisions for years now, hunting for all those bargain deals, TV offers, the odd LCD review, etc and it has served us well and taught us a lot but maybe now is the time to part company. Hopefully to a company that can really take it forwards in the way we would have liked to but just don’t have the money to invest ourselves. Cello Cheap 3D Televisions

For September we hope to continue growing cheap televisions in the same vain and would be particularly interested in hearing from people that have TV related voucher codes. Voucher codes for TV deals at the likes of Currys, Comet, Tesco, Argos, John Lewis etc have been very thin on the ground recently. Maybe something to do with the never ending financial crisis especially in retail? We would have thought that the television retailers would be trying to encourage us consumers to buy with more voucher codes and special bargain offer than ever before but for some reason it’s not happening.

According to our analytics information cheap televisions had 4,177 unique visitors and 7,629 pageviews! That’s up from 3,449 and 5,105 in July so the team must be doing something right with the TV blog . Again most of the cheap televisions traffic came from search engines 79% with the rest being a mixture of site referrals and direct web traffic. We will be trying our best to get the cheap televisions site to hit 5,000+ visitors for September even though it will be a very tough task (although not impossible, at its height cheap televisions would get over 1,000 hits a day!).

What TV

The team are trying to create more of a community feel to cheap televisions so need to know what the community wants. We’ve been reviewing what cheap TV posts are the most popular and trying to base more of our blog posts around them, but some input from you the reader would be much appreciated.

Also what do you guys think of the new layout for our TV site? We think it’s a huge improvement over the previous look and need to begin adding the finishing touches to make cheap televisions look great. We also need one or two more people to help write blogs for us, what subjects? Well that’s up to you as long as it is TV related (obviously). Home Cinemas

If you want you can also write about your home cinemas telling us what you’ve done, what’s good about creating a room to be a home cinema and what HD projector, plasma or LCD you use or recommend. Reviews wise the LG 42PT353K HD 42 Inch Plasma TV has very good customer reviews on Amazon with a rating of 5 out of 5 stars and one review saying: “Brilliant stuff from LG here. I love it when you purchase a product and there is absolutely nothing you can complain about. I haven’t exactly ‘tested’ everything such as the HD picture or all the inputs. But the picture quality is so great from standard freeview, I’m sure it’ll be fantastic. For this price I don’t think you can do better than this television. Another thing I really appreciate about this TV is the menu. It’s beautiful to look at with good usability. Other manufacturers can learn from this. I am very glad I bought this and not an LED TV for twice the price.”

The LG 42PT353K HD 42″ plasma television can be purchased for around £350 at all good home entertainment shops!

1: Tesco – £96.00 – Technika 16-850 15.6 inch LCD TV with built in DVD and  Freeview

Not exactly feature rich, however this cheap Technika television on sale at Tesco does come with a built in DVD player and Freeview. It’s HD ready and also has 1 HDMI, 1 Scart and 1 USB connection all for under £100!

2: Amazon – £80.00 – Digihome LED16913HD 16 inch HD Ready LED TV

At £80.00 you really knock this Digihome television being sold by Amazon, ok it doesn’t have a built in DVD player like the Technika but is £16 cheaper. Although being a very cheap bargain it does have very mixed reviews on Amazon so check before buying.

3: Argos – £89.99 – Alba 16 Inch HD Ready LED TV

Another 16 inch television this time made by Alba and being sold by Argos. Yes it is a seriously ugly TV set in this hot pink colour but don’t worry as Argos do sell the same model in black (yes Argos needs to employ better photographers as we can see the reflection too). Apart from that we have little info about this Alba TV apart from a warning on the Argos page saying “This TV will not work with digital signals in the Republic of Ireland, you will require a digital set top box or satellite source ”

4: Currys – £59.97 – C15DVDB10 15.6″ HD Ready LCD TV with Built-in DVD Player

Built in Freeview and DVD player! We really have no idea how Currys are selling it for such a cheap price. Hell even if this little LCD TV has bad sound and ok picture quality it’s still a bargain! 1 of each of the usual connectors but no reviews online for this essentials C15DVDB10 television. The cheapest TV in the UK?

5: Comet – £99.99 – Goodmans LD1613 16″ LCD TV

The most expensive television in this list of bargain TVs is the Goodmans LD1613 LCD TV which another 16 inch model. Although the most expensive it doesn’t seem to have any better features that the others in this list. Reviews wise it’s no better than the others with a few issues about Freeview reception.

Banned Television

So I’ve been building an office (cheap television HQ) where I will be forcing myself to get the website running back at full speed with only Radio 2 playing on a vintage PYE 1416 radio as entertainment. Lots has been happening in the TV world so it’s time I got down and posted some fresh updates and news.

I do have a get out of jail free card for the television ban though, I’m allowed to watch films at the weekend provided I have updated cheap televisions and if a new episode of Fringe or Celebrity Juice is on I’m allowed to watch them. Ok, ok it’s only a partial ban but fingers crossed it works.

I might also experiment with a couple of new layouts for cheap televisions as it could do with a fresh new look, although I’m still undecided and don’t want to ruin what is already here.

Rob Brydon allegedly said ” I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited”! What a statement lol. The Welsh comedian will also apparently sign with a guest at the end of every show. Which to me sounds pretty familiar. Didn’t another famous Welsh person have a light hearted television talk show where they sang on every show but on Channel 4? Ermmm pretty sure this format sounds familiar.

Right now the rambling is over I’ll be trying my best to put together some fresh new articles for cheap televisions over the coming week. I might even get round to updating the cheap TVs twitter account which has also been rather quiet. For now back to the grind but don’t forget we are still here and want to make cheap televisions one of the biggest and best television blogs on the internet.
