James May Toy Stories Meccano Bridge

The show on BBC Two is described as “James May subjects traditional toys to supersize challenges. I thought I would make a huge cheap televisions post today on the visitors we used to get back when the site was very very popular so we can compare them to what we get come the end of October. So on to the old stats for cheap TV’s and firstly the region in which people visited us from all that time ago. No surprises that cheap television site has the UK and USA being at the top of the list of countries visited from. It was pretty impressive the amount of visitors cheap television used to get from non English speaking country’s though which I can only assume is the global reach of the language and ex pats visiting.

Next is how people were finding old cheap televisions. Now there is actually thousands and thousands of these so I’ve kept it kind of normal showing you just the top 500 although I’m starting to have second thoughts after seeing how long it appears on the cheap TVs site! Oh well I’ve started now may as well go through with it lol.

Hopefully with this we can recreate the past success with the new version of cheap televisions and double our visitors by December (though target if I’m honest) but it’s going to take a lot of work. Also Hopefully it will let the cheap TV’s team concentrate on bringing you all more relevant television news opposed to keep going on about things like Top Gear and what the weekends football scores were. It does however mean double the workload and I’m determined not to let it remotely affect cheap televisions (which will be very hard considering my recent day job promotion) so if you would like to help out and write blog entries for cheap television please get in touch.

Best Cheap TV Deals

So below I’ve managed to hunt down the front page of cheap televisions back in early February 2008 using the wayback web machine thingy lol. Probably not of much interest for people reading this for the first time and nostalgic for us here at cheap television.

Cheap Televisions update 01/08. Haven’t done one of these cheap television updates for a while now so thought I better keep up appearances and let whoever wants to know whats going on in the weird world of cheap TVs. Firstly I have to admit and apologise for being a bit slow in updating both the television blog and the TV news sections of the site. I’ll blame long working hours etc but I know that doesn’t make things much better lol.

Phil Daniels slags off Eastenders. Ok finally Phil Daniels has restored a little bit of his dignity by slagging off the Eastenders writers. I have no idea why he took the role on the BBC 1 TV soap thats been running far too long as far as cheap televisions is concerned lol. Hopefully all the writers will be fired or the BBC will cancel the whole ridiculous show (highly doubtful though).

ITV fire Jim Rosenthal. ITV have decided to sack TV sports presenter Jim Rosenthal from his £400,000 a year job with the broadcaster. No doubt he’s going to be rather annoyed losing his job thats worth so much money and lets him jet set around the world presenting ITV’s TV coverage of sporting events such as the boxing and world cup rugby.

Michael Underwood breaks ankle. Contestant in this years ITV1 TV show Dancing On Ice Michael Underwood has broken his right ankle while rehearsing for this Sundays show. He has obviously pulled out of the show with the broken ankle which happened when he tripped on the ice whilst practicing with partner Melanie Lambert. He is now apparently got to undergo surgery to put his bone back in place and so specialists can add a metal plate to his leg. Although putting on a brave face seems more worried about getting out of shape than the break in his leg lol.

Not sure what is going on with the pictures on the cheap TVs website but for some reason they’re going over onto the side bar aaarrrgggghhhhh lol. So from now on all pictures will be 450 pixels wide, I think it should help cheap TV’s look a bit smarter .

Sony Bravia LCD TVs

Mainly putting this post on the Cheap TVs blog to see is the picture of the Sony Bravia LCD TV looks better in the smaller size. Not sure that will help with their apparent backlighting issues though!

Ah it looks much better with the slightly smaller picture . Really do like the picture of the Sony Bravia LCD TV in that lounge too, wish my living room looked that nice!
