I’ve been hunting around for the best and cheapest deals on Blu-ray DVD players currently on sale in the UK and thought I’d share the most affordable option currently being sold by UK electronics store Currys. It’s the PHILIPS BDP3200 Blu-ray Player which Currys are currently selling for £79.99! A very cheap bargain when you consider a standalone Blu-ray player used to cost the same as a Sony Playstation 3 which includes one.

I have officially banned myself from watching television on weekday evenings so I can devote some much needed time to the cheap televisions website and also to my photography. It’s been a bit too easy for me to sit down on the sofa with the best intentions of writing articles and television blog posts only to mindlessly watch rubbish I don’t even like on the plasma TV.

We haven’t looked at the wonderful high definition world of Blu-ray DVD players on cheap televisions for some time so we thought it would be a good idea to take a closer look at (UK) Amazon’s best selling Blu-ray DVD player, the Sony BDPS370 Blu-ray Player. The first thing that sticks out for us at cheap TVs is the cheap price tag coming in at £119 on Amazon, compared to say a year ago this is a pretty big drop in the price for a Sony branded Blu-ray DVD player but is BDPS370 such a good bargain?

Right the Easter weekend was fun, still got a few more pictures taken with the Canon 1000D and Tokina 12-24mm lens of the Southend Shakedown to upload. But first it’s time to get away from motorbikes on cheap television and back to our bread and butter of TV deals. Amazon UK are currently promoting 3 Sony Bravia LCD televisions in their top offers section. The TV screens are a 26″, 32″ and 40″ in size with the cheapest starting at £299.99.

Cheap Televisions will be down Southend seafront tomorrow taking some pictures of the 2010 Southend Shakedown. I know it’s not a television related topic but the yearly motorbike ride from London’s Ace Cafe is now a pretty big event and all in aid of charity. Here’s hoping the weather holds out and that the roadworks combined with the British Superbikes don’t play havoc with this years Southend Shakedown. Ok back to the cheap televisions deals and looking around the internet we found a little offer that can be picked up at Tesco. They are offering a half price Xbox 360 when you buy a Technika 23” LCD TV which we believe comes with built in Freeview and a DVD player. As you would expect the Technika TV at Tesco is a HD Ready television (they all are now aren’t they?) and comes with silver trim rather than the normal black all for £200.00. Throw in the half price Xbox 360 Arcade at £79.50 and we think you’ve got a pretty good cheap television deal. Yes 2009 is almost at an end and cheap televisions is looking forwards to 2010 (well after Christmas and the January sales with lots of bargain LCD TV deals). Lots to look forwards too including 3d TV technology, more HD TV channels including Freeview HD (at last). Cheaper prices for LCD TVs and big screen plasma televisions which might be helped with Best Buy coming to the UK (cheap televisions is hoping for a price war with Comet, Dixons and Currys). More of the best voucher codes for LED, LCD and Plasma TVs as well as blu-ray DVD players, 2010 is going to be a good year.
