This week Sky TV sent me through an offer of returning to their satellite television subscription service half price for a year. The deal from Sky also includes the sports and movie channels! I left Sky several months ago and blogged about why I was leaving on this here cheap television blog.

Amazon are currently running a special 10% discount voucher code on selected HD televisions and TV related goodies like digital satellite recorders which are listed below. Tesco currently have a deal on the Samsung 3D LE40C750R2 40 TV advertised on their website when you buy the Samsung television you get a Samsung 3D BluRay player and a Samsung 3D Kit thrown in for free. Saving £329.94 does sound like a good cheap TV deal from Tesco but like we always say here on cheap televisions shop around and haggle, you may be able to get an even better bargain on all this kit if you hunt the web and make some phone calls.

Play.com currently have the Full HD Sony Bravia KDL-40W5500 40″ LCD TV as their Deal Of The Week in the cheap televisions section. At a relatively cheap LCD TV £699.99 including free delivery and 3 year warranty I think it’s very good value especially considering Tesco Direct are selling refurbished Sony Bravia 40W5500 40″ LCD TV for £899.99! Crazy when you compare the best prices, deals and quality of cheap televisions sometimes.

This is the first time cheap televisions has had a TV stand deal instead of cheap LCD TV deals or the best bargain plasma televisions. Tesco are selling Alphason AV50/3-PB glass stand for half price when you buy a selected plasma or LCD TV from the Tesco online store. The special offer is valid until Wednesday 24 February 2010, although the Tesco deal may not be as good as a big discount voucher on a cheap LCD TV! In the run up to Christmas wouldn’t an extra 5% discount off your Blu-ray DVD player, LED backlight TV, LCD TV or plasma TV on the Currys website be a good deal? Well cheap televisions managed to get hold of a discount voucher code to use at Currys giving you 5% off any order over £300. Some of these voucher codes never work but I’ve tested this one personally on Currys website and it works. 5% may not make it super cheap but every little counts in the hunt for cheap television deals. Tesco have knocked £20 off the LG BD350 Blu-ray DVD player in one of their price checks down to £129.97 (a bargain I hear you say). But one quick little search by cheap televisions finds that Tesco should knock at least another £20 off this LG Blu-Ray DVD player! Richersounds will sell you the same cheap BD350 Blu-Ray player for £109.95 a much better deal! Just been looking over at the digital direct website and they have what they describe as Hot Deals on several televisions. One of them is this cheap JVC LT32DR1 32 Inch Full HD LCD TV for a shade under £500. Probably not the LCD TV bargain of the century but full of features at a relatively cheap price (maybe not a really hot deal though!) might be worth seeing in action.
