Just been looking over at the digital direct website and they have what they describe as Hot Deals on several televisions. One of them is this cheap JVC LT32DR1 32 Inch Full HD LCD TV for a shade under £500. Probably not the LCD TV bargain of the century but full of features at a relatively cheap price (maybe not a really hot deal though!) might be worth seeing in action.

We spend ages looking for the best tv deals, what cheap televisions are on sale and where to buy them but without a good HD source we can’t truly appreciate the HD video content they can beam into our living rooms. This Samsung BD-P4600 Blu-Ray DVD player not only lets us have that HD quality but the DVD player itself is a gorgeous looking piece of design itself, personally I wouldn’t hide the BD-P4600 Blu-Ray player away like I do with my Sky+ box.

Ok the Loewe Connect 37 Media Full-HD+ DR+ is a silly name for a television but it is one gorgeous looking 37 inch LCD TV. The modern contemporary design does come at a not so cheap price of around 2k so is maybe more for the design conscious amongst us. As you would expect from a high end LCD TV it has 720p, 1080i and 1080p HD formats but more interesting is the built in PVR and a 180GB hard disk. Yup LG have released the first combination Blu-Ray/HD DVD player to the market which in theory will stop users worrying about which format (if any at this rate) will be top dog after the smoke settles. Electronics firm LG have made a huge cock up with this release to the UK market, how?? Well in the USA the same player costs $1,000.00 so in the UK at the current exchange rate is £500.00 right? or even £600.00 to allow for all the importation costs etc right? Well no, amazingly LG seem to think in todays globalised market that UK consumers would be happy to pay £1,000.00 for there Blu-Ray/HD DVD player!!!
