Fringe TV Shows characters:

• Anna Torv as Olivia Dunham (season 1–present), a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent tasked with investigating a spate of unexplainable events. Anna Torv also plays Olivia Dunham in the parallel universe, named by the characters from the main universe as “Fauxlivia”.

• Joshua Jackson as Peter Bishop (season 1–present), a jack-of-all-trades with a less than clean background brought into the Fringe team by Olivia to help work with his estranged father, Walter Bishop. Peter is really the son of “Walternate” from the parallel universe in the TV show, Peter was taken by Walter shortly after the death of his own Peter at a young age.

• John Noble as Doctor Walter Bishop (season 1–present), a former government researcher working in the world of fringe science who was seen as a mad scientist and institutionalised after a accident in his which resulted in his assistant being killed. John Noble also plays as the parallel universe’s Walter character, named “Walternate” by the characters in the main fringe universe. Walternate managed to become very powerful as the U.S. Secretary of Defense and started the war against the main universe after the his son Peter was abducted.

• Lance Reddick as Phillip Broyles (season 1–present), a Homeland Security agent and Senior-Agent-In-Charge (SAIC) who ultimately runs the Fringe Division. Reddick also plays the role of the parallel universe Broyles (no odd name here), who finds sympathy for Olivia and manages gets himself killed during season 3 whilst helping her to escape back to the main Fringe universe.

• Jasika Nicole as Astrid Farnsworth (season 1–present), a Junior FBI Agent and assistant to Olivia and Walter. Nicole also plays the parallel universe Astrid character, who appears to have symptoms similar to Asperger syndrome as tribute to Nicole’s sister who has the disorder.

• Blair Brown as Nina Sharp (season 1–present), the Chief Operating Officer of Massive Dynamic, a leading firm in science and technology research and longtime friend of Walter and William.

• Kirk Acevedo as Charlie Francis (season 1–season 2, episodes 1–4, 11; recurring afterward), FBI Senior Agent, Olivia’s colleague and close friend, and the second-in-command of the Fringe Division before his demise. Though Charlie was killed early in the second season, Acevedo reprises the parallel universe version of Charlie.

• Mark Valley as John Scott (season 1, episodes 1–13), Olivia’s former FBI partner and secret lover, and whose death in “Pilot” leads Olivia to join the Fringe division.

• Seth Gabel as Lincoln Lee (recurring season 2–3; starring season 4), an agent of the parallel universe Fringe Division. The prime universe version of Lincoln, also played by Gabel, appeared in the episode “Stowaway” as a special agent stationed at the FBI building in Hartford, Connecticut.

Ducati 1098 Southend Shakedown Pictures 2010

Ok was a fun filled day, the weather was rather rubbish to start but did get nice in the afternoon with plenty of sun to be had. This years Southend Shakedown didn’t seem as busy as previous years to me but was still a very good turn and plenty of characters around. Didn’t get as many good pictures of the Southend Shakedown as I was hoping but here are the pictures I do have, I will keep updating this cheap televisions blog post over the week as TV and a nice cold beer are in order .

All kinds of motorbikes were at the event however there wasn’t enough mods (actual mods all dressed up etc) to give it that retro vibe from the past. So well done the Rockers, Mods try harder at the 2011 Southend Shakedown please. Would have been cool if they had a band playing too but you can’t have everything I guess.

Cheap Televisions Salzburg Austria March

Hope you like the pictures. Cheap televisions will now resume normal services, although I will warn you now I have pictures from Munich, Bremen, Frankfurt and Verden in Germany which I plan to put on the cheap TVs pictures and images section soon.

Cheap flights with Ryanair means anyone can go and see Salzburg. Before you say the obvious the airport is about 5 mins away in a cab, its right next to the city.

Philips CINEMA 21:9 LCD TV Picture 1

After looking at these 8 images of the Philips Cinema 21:9 LCD TV I don’t only want to own one I want to own one of the settings the pictures were taken in. Who wouldn’t love a lounge like the ones we can see here! Anyway enjoy the pictures and hope that lottery ticket comes in . Oh and yes if you are thinking this television looks slightly odd thats because it one of the new generation of super wide screen TVs (apparently widescreen wasn’t wide enough).

Funny little skeleton hand points the way for Mark Benford (Joseph Fiennes) to go to some parties where people who didn’t see anything in their FlashForwards are engaging in some pretty strange things.

Lloyd Simcoe (Jack Davenport) puts in a very small appearance in this episode, but I’m pretty proud to see the amount of British actors and actresses in this TV show.

We take a little flashback (see what I did there lol) to Iraq which starts one of the twists.

Ok not an interesting picture at all but this does show how not to possition your LCD and plasma television above a fireplace. It looks cool but its far too high and will give you some serious neck strain.

Ok twist number two and this for me is the big one, Al Gough played by Lee Thompson Young saw that somehow he killed the mother of twins in his FlashForward. He’s pretty cut up about it so heads to the roof!

He gets on the roof and the other FBI agents try to make him get down. He claims that if he kills himself then it proves they can change what they saw in the FlashForward and even those who saw nothing would still be able to live, Mark Benford might be able not to start drinking and his wife might not jump into bed with Jack Davenport’s character. Now I didn’t think they would let him die.

I was very wrong! This is a major twist as everything we’ve seen so far has been the FlashForwards coming true.

Some LCD television pictures for all our cheap television loving readers out there although this one is probably of more interest to those of you in the good old USA. The LCD TV is from Samsung and I’ve actually seen some cheep good deals on this LNT4071F LCD television on some of the American shops. Not the best of cheap televisions picture posts, but at least its very good that I’m keeping up appearances.

First picture of the Samsung LNT4071F LCD TV is a front view and it looks pretty smart if you ask me. The smooth curve with a hit of red looks stylish instead of grotesque like several over televisions currently available (especially the bright pink televisions in some shops). The second image is a side image of the Samsung LNT4071F LCD television and as you might have guessed being a slim television you can’t actually see much (I think thats the point of not having CRT TV’s any more).

The Stargate does make a very welcome return to our television screens, this is the first world visited so far (yes just a desert).

Robert Carlyle comes to the small screen for Stargate Universe and brings some good acting with him, fat guy in the background is about the only initially likeable member of the whole show.

Oh yes more annoying arguing to fill the gaps, the black guy on the right is the worse and more annoying character in the whole of Stargate Universe, I just hope they develop him in some interesting way or it’ll get tedious.

Not sure what is going on with the pictures on the cheap TVs website but for some reason they’re going over onto the side bar aaarrrgggghhhhh lol. So from now on all pictures will be 450 pixels wide, I think it should help cheap TV’s look a bit smarter .

Sony Bravia LCD TVs

Mainly putting this post on the Cheap TVs blog to see is the picture of the Sony Bravia LCD TV looks better in the smaller size. Not sure that will help with their apparent backlighting issues though!

Ah it looks much better with the slightly smaller picture . Really do like the picture of the Sony Bravia LCD TV in that lounge too, wish my living room looked that nice!

Holly Willoughby

Yes rather boring news I know. Grey haired Philip Schofield and big boobs Holly Willoughby take over from the 14th September in a new look show (they have presented together on TV before on Dancing On Ice). Holly Willoughby (who I personally think is rather danm hot and sexy) also apparently told Hello! magazine “You can’t try to recreate anything that’s been in the past. Fern and Phil were a brilliant couple. They were hilarious and you couldn’t help but laugh along with them.”
