A few weeks ago on this here cheap televisions blog I mentioned the current 12 months half price deal for customers returning to Sky TV I received in the post. So after much pondering I finally decided to give in and take Sky up on the offer using a promotional discount code, it’s much cheaper than normal and I do love a television related bargain. Rather than just sticking with the television packs I had previously with Sky television I decided to also add the Sky Sports package which with the offer comes in at a reasonably cheap £20 a month!

Half Price Sky TV Deal.

Sky Vs Virgin Media goes 3d.

Ah it looks like Sky and Virgin Media are back having another public tit for tat (cheap televisions favourite kind I’ll have you know). Although this one looks a bit more tame and wont result in anyone losing any television channels like Sky One and Sky News again. So what’s the battle? Television X For The Xbox 360?

Television X For The Xbox 360? As cheap televisions previously reported the Xbox 360 now has the Sky Player service but it is missing some boob flashing and nakedness of the adult themed channels (ok yes the sex channels). But this doesn’t mean the likes of Television X, Playboy and the Adult channel wont be making an appearance on the Xbox eventually.

Once upon a time purchasing a new televisions set was a pretty simple process. You generally only had to thing the size of the screen you wanted, how much money you had to spend, what the picture quality looked like to other televisions in the store and if you were fussy which brand of TV you wanted in your lounge. Sky TV Player on The Xbox 360 This Month.

Good news for all UK Xbox 360 owners (including cheap televisions) the deal to bring the Sky Player to the Microsoft Xbox 360 games console on the 27h of October! Apparently it will only be in standard definition (why all these HD Ready and Full HD televisions when there’s no free HD content, not the best marketing!) to start off with, and may include Premier League Football and boring boring Cricket.
