So far October has been a very good month for cheap televisions no doubt partly down to shoppers starting their Christmas present buying and looking for bargain plasma or LCD TVs. So far it has been our best ever month for traffic here at cheap television since the old site broke down and disappeared. Saying that we don’t expect to get back to our late 2008 early 2009 traffic levels just yet as there will be a few people hunting around for a cheap LCD TV bargain but consumer confidence isn’t exactly at its highest levels at the moment with the big credit crunch still going on.

Sony Offers £150 Off LCD Bravia TVs in Trade in Deal.
Japanese electronics giant Sony is currently offering upto £150 off a brand new Sony Bravia LCD TV when you trade in your old television set. If cheap television is reading the marketing talk properly you also get a 3 year guarantee with your new Sony Bravia LCD TV too. If you buy a 26″ to 37″ you get £50 off, 40″ £100 off and any Sony Bravia LCD TV 47″ and over get £150 off and Sony will be running this trade in deal until October 18 2009.

Smaller Pictures on Cheap TVs.
Not sure what is going on with the pictures on the cheap TVs website but for some reason they’re going over onto the side bar aaarrrgggghhhhh lol. So from now on all pictures will be 450 pixels wide, I think it should help cheap TV’s look a bit smarter

Sony Bravia LCD TVs
New Sony KDL-40Z5500 LCD TV Reviewed.
Whathifi have just reviewed the new KDL-40Z5500 LCD television from Sony, its another full HD effort as you would imagine (don’t see many non full HD Sony televisions any more) costing around £1,300. It seems they were very impressed with this LCD TV giving it 4 out of 5 stars but were disappointed with the back lighting of the television which stopped them giving the KDL-40Z5500 LCD TV a 5 out of 5 review.

New Sony Bravia LCD Range of Televisions
After last weeks news about Sony OLED televisions it seems like every week here at cheap TV we have news about a new Sony Bravia television or range of HD TVs (I don’t know what the deal with other manufacturers like Pioneer and Panasonic is)! And this week is no exception with the announcement from Sony of the X4500 and W4500 LCD Bravia Televisions. Neither of these new models will be a bargain cheap TV though with the X4500 tele range coming in at two large sizes at 46″ and 55″ with Full HD 1080p resolution and the W4500 televisions 40″, 46″ and 52″ again all Full HD.

Just been looking at some of the cheaper televisions on the market at the moment and have put together Amazons best selling televisions between £200 and £300 at the moment. No surprise all are LCD televisions and all between 19″ and 26″ and are more than likely being purchased as a second television for the kitchen or bedroom opposed to a main television.

Sony announce Bravia W4000 LCD TV
Japanese electronics giant Sony has announced a new addition to the Bravia range with the W4000 LCD TV which is aimed at the high end of its television range. We don’t really have any details on sizes or prices from Sony although you can be sure that it won’t be a cheap LCD TV when its released. Sony and Sharp join for LCD TVs
Sony and Sharp have agreed to join forces for the LCD TV market with Sony taking a stake in Sharp’s LCD panel factory. Some of you maybe thinking this is slightly strange with Sont televisions being made at a Sharp factory, but they currently have a similar relationship with South Korean electronics company Samsung!
