No doubt Frankie Cocozza would want to get glamour model Nicola McLean, or any of the Celebrity Big Brother girls (apart from Natalie Cassidy obviously) naked in the house. However the model is ten years his senior and is married to footballer Tom Williams.

Anyway more rubbish television is in store as Frankie Cocozza, Nicola McLean and Co in the Celebrity Big Brother continue to destroy our brains on Channel 5 tonight and every night until it finally ends and some other reality TV show comes along to take its place.

Suits TV Show on Dave

Season 1 of Suits is apparently due to be broadcast on Dave early in 2012. So for those of us in the UK that have already enjoyed the first season and want to see what happens after the cliff-hanger at the end of Suits season 1 will have to wait until around early 2013 to watch season 2 legitimately! Season 2 of Suits is (if our cheap television sources are correct) going to be broadcast in the USA during summer 2012.

Hopefully Suits gets the attention the TV show deservers on Dave and they jump the broadcasting of season 2 in the UK forwards to be a few days after America. Sky do this with TV shows Fringe, Terra Nova etc and did the same with Lost so no reason Dave couldn’t do it with Suits. For anyone that hasn’t seen Suits I won’t give away any spoilers here, but the best way I’ve heard it described is a legal comedy drama that’s as realistic as CSI.

So far there have been 8 episodes of Suits broadcast in the USA. We would like to say that it’ll be shown in the UK soon but as of yet no UK TV channels seem to have picked up on it. They should employ cheap televisions to help decide what rights to what American TV shows should be purchased and sent over here to the UK.

If you haven’t seen season 1 and you love zombie action or just well made television shows then we implore you to watch it on Blu-ray before the release of season 2 of The Walking Dead. When the USA network AMC TV release more trailers for this you can be assured we will be posting them here on cheap televisions. With maybe the exception of the highly anticipated release of American science fiction drama television series Terra Nova from Steven Spielberg, Fox and Dreamworks Television we think The Walking Dead season 2 will be one of the best TV shows of the 2011 autumn TV schedule.

Charlie Sheen - Two And A Half Men

Apparently Charlie Sheen isn’t too bothered about the gory end to his TV character saying:”I am honoured that it took something as large and violent as an oncoming train to terminate my character. Anything less would have been an insult!”. Ashton Kutcher who starred in the Butterfly Effect will take over the lead character in the TV show after the death of Charlie Sheen and will have the German sounding name Walden Schmidt.

Rowan Atkinson looked funny in a helmet but his driving was no joke, a super smooth lap with no drama put him right at the top of the Top Gear fastest lap leader board. He didn’t seem too excited but maybe he was just gob-smacked? (although I think not).

Update 05/08/11: just seen a picture of the Maclaren super car that Rowan Atkinson crashed on a country road! Maybe he thought he was still on the Top Gear track or just got unlucky, but it really didn’t look in a good state. Glad his injuries aren’t too severe, he’s a lucky boy!

ITV1 Loose Women

Apparently a source, possibly orange! Told the Sun newspaper about Coleen Nolan leaving Loose Women “Loose Women is one of ITV’s most popular daytime shows so we owe it to the audience to keep it fresh. We’re revamping it for the autumn, so as part of that we’re having some new regular presenters. Sarah has been brilliant when she has been on and, let’s face it, Janet is ideal for a show like Loose Women. We don’t want the show to go stale so it was time for a refresh. We reached the decision with Coleen by mutual consent and she has lots of other projects she wants to work on.”

Whatever, if you have ever seen loose women, you’ll hopefully understand why us here at cheap televisions hate it and couldn’t give a motormouth monkeys about Coleen Nolan basically being fired. Bye bye.

Celebrity Juice ITV2

Along with the host Keith, the team captains Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby and panel regular Rufus Hound will be actress Patsy Kensit and comedian and actor Johnny Vegas. That still leaves one empty chair but I can’t find who it’ll be joining them on the internet or the ITV2 website, any ideas? I doubt it’ll be as funny as the naked old man episode that had me laughing so much, but it’s always a great TV show to cheer you up on a Thursday night.

Celebrity Juice is on ITV2 at 10pm on Thursday.

Top Gear

Someone called “Source” apparently told the Sun newspaper “The prince is a massive Top Gear fan and is dying to give the Kia a spin. He loves driving and ideally he’d like to beat Tom Cruise just for the boasting rights.” They also added about Prince Harry bringing some troops on the Top Gear TV show with him “He doesn’t want it to be all about him. He wants to raise awareness of the Armed Forces.”

The royal family seem not to be able to stay out of the media spotlight at the moment which is pretty boring, but another series of Top Gear on our TV screen in all its HD glory is never a bad thing.

TV Show The Day Of The Triffids

The TV show version of The Day Of The Triffids is also written by Patrick Harbinson who has previous shows like ER and Law & Order to his name. The two part television drama will be shown on BBC One over the Christmas holidays but unfortunately cheap televisions doesn’t know the exact broadcast date yet.

A BBC press release describes the new version of The Day Of The Triffids as:

“In the not-too-distant future, man’s search for an alternative fuel supply leads him to uncover the ominous Triffid, a crop now cultivated for its fuel that seems to have a life of its own. But when spectators gather worldwide for a much anticipated solar storm, billions are left blinded and the few sighted survivors watch as society collapses into chaos.

Now, Dr Bill Masen must lead the brave in their epic battle against the Triffids’ reign of terror in what could be the last days of mankind.”

Eddie Izzard BBC One TV The Day Of The Triffids

Now I think Eddie Izzard is a great comedian but if I’m honest I have never seen much of his television work as I have could care for his strange fake American accent. I hope we get to see his proper acting talent in this tv version of The Day Of The Triffids. Talking all promotion Eddie Izzard apparently said:

“It’s a brilliant thriller, which taps into the survivalist instinct within us all. Like 28 Days Later, it shows what could happen if the structure of society disintegrated.
