Apparently royal rebel Prince Harry has agreed to appear on the next series of the popular car TV show Top Gear. Prince Harry is apparently a fan of Top Gear and will take a spin in the reasonably priced car and attempt to get the fastest lap. Obviously he’ll have a chat with Jeremy Clarkson but according to reports will bring some soldiers along to help raise awareness for the armed forces.

TV channel BBC One is set to release a two part television drama of the classic The Day Of The Triffids. Now we at cheap TVs love the classic version and although this TV version will never be as good at least the BBC are giving a good shot including acting talent like Dougray Scott, Joely Richardson, Brian Cox, Vanessa Redgrave, Eddie Izzard and Jason Priestley in the cast.

Sexy X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has landed herself a one off prime-time television show on ITV. The show to be called Cheryl Cole’s Night In will be shown on TV on Saturday the 19th of December (wow think I might cancel my trip to Manchester for this). There aren’t many other details at the moment but according to the reports in the Sun Cheryl Cole will perform a duet with one of the member of the worst band in the world Black Eyed Peas.

I hate Ant and Dec but apparently the rest of the UK don’t agree with me and my TV blog and love them! So go news for all of you fans out there as they have apparently been given the go ahead for a 10th TV series of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway by ITV.

It seems we can’t get away from James May on TV at the moment. Last night he returned in one of the best TV shows now in HD on the planet (according to us at cheap televisions anyway) in the form of Top Gear on BBC Two last night. And tomorrow Captain Slow will be on again building the biggest Scalextric track in the world on the Toy Stories TV show.

The BBC has picked up the rights to broadcast an Americans comedy television show called Nurse Jackie for BBC Two and BBC Four. We’re excited as it stars Edie Falco from The Sopranos. If I’m thinking right this is the first TV show from the USA that BBC Two will have shown since it picked up Heroes.

It seems like it been ages but one of the best shows on television finally returns with more burning tyre smoke, funny humour and controversial remarks by Jeremy Clarkson on Sunday as Top Gear returns. Its on at a slightly later time than the previous series of Top Gear starting at 9pm on BBC Two but I for one can not wait to see Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and The Stig (although the cheap Stig branded Christmas presents are getting annoying) back on our TV screens.

Tonight at 8pm on BBC Two (on televisions and on the BBC iPlayer) Top Gear’s James May is going to attempt to build a bridge entirely out of Meccano on his TV show Toy Stories. It’s not the best thing on TV but Cheap televisions has enjoyed the previous two episodes (building a Spitfire and making a garden from Plasticine) but tonight’s episode appears to be more challenging from the preview video clips cheap TVs have seen.
